Revelation and Against Nature

News

Find out what's going on with Against Nature and Revelation.

12.24.08

Against Nature's "Accumulus" is now available on CD here.

12.11.08

We have created a new web page where you can buy Against Nature and Revelation CDs here.

Also, Shadow Kingdom Records soon will release the Revelation CD "Release" for US and worldwide distribution. We will also have CDs for sale through the Bland Hand Records web site. "Release" will be the same as the Leaf Hound edition but with a different back cover. We're happy to be involved with Shadow Kingdom and Tim, and to see our disc once again readily available.

As many of you already know, Toreno (Leaf Hound Records), for personal reasons, has been unable to run his business. We haven't had contact with him for nearly 6 months, and there's nothing we can say officially or unofficially about the future of Leaf Hound Records. However, he has always treated us with great regard and friendship.

Bert, Steve, and I do apologize to everyone who ordered our CD from Leaf Hound and never received it. If there was something we could do to help, we would. We're sorry this situation has become so frustrating to everyone, including ourselves. Perhaps Toreno will make amends some day soon to everyone who has ordered records from Leaf Hound.

12.10.08

Revelation will play the Doom Shall Rise VI festival in Goppingen, Germany in April 2009. The appearance will be preceded by a week-long tour with Lord Vicar, Mirror of Deception, and Lord of the Grave in Europe.

      11.17.08

We've begun rehearsals and writing sessions for the next Against Nature release, "Action at a Distance." This record will continue with the progressive direction of "Accumulus" and will look further afield for inspiration and sounds.

11.06.08

Over the past few months, we have been told over and over of Leaf Hound not filling orders for our CDs and records, even after payment has been made. At the moment, we are suggesting that those who want "Release" or our other releases do not place new orders until these current problems with Leaf Hound are resolved. We have disabled all links to Leaf Hound on the Bland Hand website.

Although we take no responsibility for Leaf Hound's actions, we apologize for this embarassing mess.

-John, Steve, Bert

Recording is underway for the next Revelation record "Release." This record will consist of 8 songs with a total playing time of around 60 minutes. Leaf Hound Records is planning a late Spring release. Working song titles are Release, Then and Again, Epiphany, Between Two Abysses, Corridors of Life, Things Remembered, Anatomy of Melancholy, and Stars Almost Drown.

The new Against Nature record "Much in Little" will be available for download this weekend, followed by "Descend" in another week. The playing time for "Much in Little" turned out longer than we supposed, about 35 minutes total, so we're no longer calling it an "EP."

Against Nature is also tentatively scheduled to play the Stoner Hand of Doom Germany festival later this year.

Electric Magma and more bands have contributed songs to the Tundra Trash Benefit compilation, for which we ask you please to leave a donation. We'll keep the benefit going for a few more months.
